As the summer comes, most of the people look for places that have a cool temperature. Almost all the places in India face a tough summer along with hot and humid weather. In fact, all the schools and colleges remain closed for a month till the monsoon knocks the door. This is the actual time when one can easily plan for a trip with their family members. People usually look for an option to stay away from the scorching heat of the sun at least for a few days. There are numerous hill stations in India that can give you relief for some days. 

Ladakh:

It is one of the most incredible and unique destinations that can be spend during the summer months. Located in the state of Jammu and Kashmir it is like a heaven. The beauty of nature will move you to a different world. If you are at Ladakh you should visit Leh and its adjoining regions. Leh can be reached very easily by the tourists as there are frequent flights from Delhi and Jammu. Summers in this place is very pleasant and attract a lot of tourists. Never forget to visit the 800-year old Kali mandir that is located on top of the mountain. 

Manali:

It is one of the best choices to spend the summer months at Manali. Located in the northern part of India this place can be easily accessed through road, flights and railways. This place is an exceptionally beautiful and most visited tourist destination. The snow-covered Rohtang Pass and the old Hadimba Temple is the main attraction of the place. Apart from this, Manali is also considered to be the best place for shopping or marketing. You should also visit the Solang Valley, Naggar if you are at Manali.

Dharamshala:

The quiet valley of Dharamshala says a lot of things. It is believed that Dharamshala wears the costume of beauty and invites tourists from all over the world. Every year a huge number of people come to this place to explore the beauty of this place. Even the lofty and conical mountains are simply breathtaking. There are luxurious hotels and resorts all along with the place that is always ready to give you a comfortable stay. The Kangra Museum, War Memorial and similar other places are the main attraction of this place. 

Darjeeling:

If we talk about the hill stations the first name that usually comes into our mind is Darjeeling. The “Queen of Hills”- Darjeeling has always been the dream destination of a lot of people. It will be amazing to see the sunrise from the “Tiger Hill”.Although the place is a bit congested in the present time still it is the favorite destination for a lot of people. The most noted place of Darjeeling is the Ghum Monastery, Batasia Loop War Memorial, Tea gardens, Botanical gardens and many other places. All these places are the major attraction of Darjeeling. 

Mussorie:

Mussorie is a very calm and beautiful hill station in India. However, it becomes very crowded during the summer months so prior booking is mandatory. If you are at Mussorie you should try the ropeway or the cable car service that will take to different tea gardens. The Mall road is one of the posh areas of this place that is famous for shopping and marketing. There are some giant waterfalls in this place that can help you to cherish your holiday in a much better manner. Other than that, Lal Tibba and Cloud End is the most visited place of Mussorie.

Summers are always tiring and irritating. The weather makes the body feel lazy. To get rid of this problem at least for some days one can visit the above-mentioned places according to their budget and wish.
